Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SaveLock, operated by SaveLock ("we", "us", or "our") at getsavelock.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SaveLock is a personal finance tool that allows you to create time-locked savings vaults and record bank account information in encrypted form. SaveLock is a record-keeping and commitment tool — it does not move, hold, or transfer real money. Transfers recorded in the app are commitments only; actual fund movement occurs through your bank independently.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SaveLock. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Subscription & Billing

SaveLock charges a subscription fee of $9.99 per month, billed through Stripe.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time through the billing portal — access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial months.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use SaveLock for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
Upload or transmit malicious code
Use the service to store information belonging to others without their consent

6. Data & Encryption

SaveLock encrypts your bank account details on your device before transmission. While we take security seriously, no system is 100% foolproof. You acknowledge that you use SaveLock at your own risk and that SaveLock is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SaveLock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be free from errors. We are not a bank, financial advisor, or regulated financial institution.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveLock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
